Karen Katin
Karen has been sewing her entire life. When friends and family kept saying, "you should really sell that..." she opened an Etsy shop and attended some local artisan fairs ( meeting Traci through the RI yarn crawl). Though she knits badly, she has been sewing beautiful project bags for knitters through her online store, Dancing Threads RI for years . Drawing on her prior high school teaching experience she now teaches a variety of children's and adult classes in and around Aquidneck Island. You may have recently taken one of her embroidery, sewing machine or kids felt sewing class workshops at a Rhode Island library!
